Everyone knows Game of Thrones. It doesn't matter if you've seen the series or not. Nevertheless, the framework for action is well known to everyone. Now connect GoT with the games from “From Software”. These include the Dark Souls series, Bloodbourne, and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, among others. George RR Martin will kill you with his story and From Software with its gameplay. Now we just have to hope that he actually finishes this story.

The Trailer for Elden Ring

The trailer for Elden Ring was already shown at the Microsoft press conference at E3 2019 in Los Angeles. However, the footage shown doesn't really suggest much about the final game. It will definitely keep a dark tone, much like the Soulsbourne games. A project created by George RR Martin and From Software naturally stirs the tempers of fans. We didn't take a bad look at the trailer either.

The characters that can be seen will most likely be NPCs. The look reveals a lot about their motives. The "Elden Ring" has been destroyed by someone or something. It doesn't specify whether the ring is a literal ring or something else. Finally, a high organization of knights or kings could also be referred to as the "Elden Ring".

You'll have to be patient for the final release. In the run-up, there will definitely be gameplay demos.

What is known so far About Elden Ring?

We suspect that the game will have the same graphics as Sekiro. However, in contrast, it has far more RPG elements. A very gloomy world, which will not only convince on its own. Characters penned by the man who wrote the Book of Ice and Fire will let you feel the story. Above all, the NPCs should get a significant boost from him. The main plot is created without the GoT inventor. He himself is only responsible for creating the fantasy world and history.

Unlike in Sekrio, you will be able to create your own hero. So almost like in the other games from From Software. Another similarity is that Elden Ring is played in the 3rd person perspective. So your created character won't be behind the camera all the time.

According to the developer studio, the gameplay is most similar to the Dark Souls games. But that doesn't mean there won't be any new features. For example, you will be able to fight opponents from horseback. The fights should also be more varied. A wide range of weapons and magic will be at your disposal for this. Every player should be allowed to live out their own style of play.

Elden Ring is From Software's biggest project to date. The hours of work will be worthwhile for you as an end-user because the previous games from From Software have always been well thought out and polished in design. Maybe we'll see it in the next generation of consoles too. The possibilities for the developers are then a little more unrestricted.

Elden Ring and the Open World

Another innovation is the Open World. This will be peppered with castles and palaces that act like dungeons. It's the first real open-world game from From Software and we think it will set new standards for the quality of an open-world game. Elden Ring has been in the works since 2017. Hidetaki Miyazaki, President of From Software, announced this in an interview.

So we should definitely get a world big enough to live up to expectations. The first piece of artwork that has surfaced online gives a good glimpse of how the game will ultimately turn out.

From Software also Interested in Guillermo Del Toro

In the future, we will probably see even more games in cooperation with big names in the media industry. From Software is interested in Hollywood director Guillermo Del Toro, among others. A remastered version of Metal Wolf Chaos XD is currently in the works. Producer Masanori Takeuchi is a big fan of the Pacific Rim movies and thinks Del Toro is good at bringing mecha anime to the big screen. The said producer even wants an anime to accompany the game, but Del Toro is unlikely to direct it.

We can remain curious to see which big names in the film and television industry will soon leave their mark on video games. The industry will benefit and the quality of the games will also increase. A win-win situation for the gamer.
